How horrible, the walls of fire in Santa Barbara California which are going on now!  I send my light mind energy to the forces of nature to tame the fingers of destruction. I pray for the consciousness and grief of the people in the effected community and hope that this disaster, which scars us all, can heal with speed and grace. May a bridge bring us all to the green fields on the other side of this disaster. I pray for the safety of the firefighters.

The woman,  who saved my life by giving me a place to land when she heard that my now ex husband beat me badly just once when he was in a drunken rage.  She helped orchestrate my leaving Pennsylvania as well as giving me a place to land in Southern California.  She is an angel in a human body.

Today I got this email which I want to share that all who read this will send their warm hearted prayers for her family and all the people who are pushed out of the life they built out of all that was possible for them.  It is natures gun point that terrorizes  and makes people run for their lives, because of the intensity of its blazing destruction.       Elaine writes:

Dear Ones,

I just spoke to my son Brent who lives at the intersection of Highway 154 and East Camino Cielo in Santa Barbara.  He is evacuating and estimates he has a few hours before the fire reaches his home.  Many people have already lost their homes and many more homes have been saved as a result of the valiant firefighters on the scene.  Naturally, they worked to save the most homes and to protect the city.  This strategy left the western flank of the fire to burn and the winds are now bringing it west, where there are few homes and only wild brush between those homes and the advancing wall of 100 foot high flames.  The area Brent lives in is known as Painted Cave and is also the home of Ken Bruer and Marti Glenn, long time Mystery Schoolers and founders of the Santa Barbara Graduate Institute.

Please keep all affected by this fire in your thoughts and prayers and pray for favorable winds and more humid weather.

Namaste,
Elaine
