Rewiring the System

Make a Difference By Changing Yourself, The Real Art

Make a difference:

How do you affect a real difference in your own life?  How can you take the necessary steps to vitalize or revitalize so your life is in step with your thoughts and feelings?  How to enjoy this life lived well though imperfect?  Harnessing the forces of dynamism, inertia and poise, that work together to create all that exists!  Dynamitism:  from the American Heritage Dictionary.

dynamic (adj.) Of or relating to energy or to objects in motion.
dynamic (adj.) Characterized by continuous change, activity, or progress: a dynamic market.
dynamic (n.) An interactive system or process, especially one involving competing or conflicting forces: “the story of a malign dynamic between white prejudice and black autonomy” (Edmund S. Morgan)
inertia (n.) The tendency of a body to resist acceleration; the tendency of a body at rest to remain at rest or of a body in straight line motion to stay in motion in a straight line unless acted on by an outside force.
inertia (n.) Resistance or disinclination to motion, action, or change: the inertia of an entrenched bureaucracy.
poise (v.) To carry or hold in equilibrium; balance.
poise (v.) To be balanced or held in suspension; hover.
poise (n.) A centimeter-gram-second unit of dynamic viscosity equal to one dyne-second per square centimeter.

First,  start by using these three words. They will work together to make a real difference for your understanding of yourself which is a shade different than self knowledge.  This is the real art of change.

How can you change what you do not know?

What are the steps you can take find out what you might want or need to change?

Look in the mirror of your life more closely.  See for yourself about how you speak that the conversation originates some place other than in your tongue.  Follow the process backwards to the place of origin.

You can hear your speech and see your actions, but do you consciously ask yourself what are you doing, why you are speaking and acting thus? Do you wander like a sleepwalker through your life?  Can you see in full sun light what all the effects of your words and deeds are on your life in a communal world?  Can you imagine the short term and longer effects you construct as you are evolving?

Never in anger will I approach the self that is my whole self.  My inner wisp of free electrons swimming in some chemical binders is who directs important processes until or unless it is shocked and shouted back into its safe lace.  The lessons we long to understand come from the journey and not the destination.
