Do you have the courage to see life as it really is unfolding? Turbulent times with breast cancer call for personalized medical treatment. Where do you go to get the sort of information that integrates research and clinical care? Today I had the good fortune to be invited to an event at the University of California San Francisco Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Research Center at 600 16th Street in the burgeoning Mission Bay district.
I am enthusiastic about this place, the researchers, doctors who rise to the challenge of developing cancer drugs and delivering them to patients as quickly and safely as possible in the current medical development process.
I will write more about what I learned tomorrow.
